My path has not been a straight line
I know very different sides of life from experience, not only from books. After school and before university, I spent a year working in a hospital and assisting with patient care. Later I worked in construction for a small company, as a research employee in a respected company, for a long time delivering food, and then for many years as an engineer in a large international testing and certification company. There were also periods when I barely knew how things would continue, came close to having no stable place to live, and had to rely on public assistance to support my family. More than once, I had to start almost from zero again.
A time when I hardly knew what I wanted
After moving to Germany and my parents’ divorce, I spent a long period of my youth in depression and apathy. When someone asked, “What do you want?”, my usual answer was, “I don’t know.” To find at least a little joy and distraction, I increasingly escaped into videos, television and computer games. Those wounds from childhood and youth ran deep. Even today, situations and feelings connected with that time sometimes return, but they affect me less and less because I try to meet them consciously, experience them and let them go instead of suppressing them again.
A first experience when I was still a child
When I was around nine or ten, a boy showed me how he could sense energy between his hands. He told me he was going to visit his grandfather to learn white magic. From then on, I kept practising that sensation and often thought how wonderful it would be to have a grandfather like that who could teach me more. I did not have such a teacher, so later I had to gather my knowledge piece by piece from books, my own experiences and the seminars I was able to attend.
From reducing stress to spiritual practice
My spiritual path did not begin with religion alone. Practical ways of reducing stress and inner tension also played an important role: progressive muscle relaxation, energetic exercises, practices involving astral-body travel, and much more. Over time I explored Reiki, Qigong, Tai Chi, ThetaHealing, the Flower of Life, Kundalini practices, yoga, shamanism, Tensegrity and many other approaches.
Gradually I saw that very different systems often speak about similar human experiences while using different words, images and models. I began to notice the parallels, test exercises through my own experience and combine what genuinely helped me feel more consciously, understand myself better and act with greater clarity. Step by step, this grew into a coherent approach that I called EnergoInformatics. For me, it does not require belonging to a particular religion, school or method.
I know many inner states from my own experience
Over the course of my life, I have experienced very different states of consciousness – from almost complete powerlessness, apathy and depressive periods to deep acceptance, inner stillness and moments of bliss. The latter states are especially meaningful to me. I encountered them more intensely during and after seminars and retreats, as well as in experiences that I personally perceived as awakenings. That contrast strongly shapes the way I guide people today: I do not want to tell someone what they are supposed to feel. I want to help them notice for themselves what is happening within them, gain their own experience and discover what genuinely works in their life.
I have had to begin my life again more than once. That is why I do not want to tell anyone how to live, but to pass on tools that can help a person perceive themselves more clearly and choose their next step more consciously.
